QUEEN PAGEANT

QUEEN HALEY FREEMAN

The reigning Miss Illinois County Fair Queen is Haley Freeman of Athens. She represented the Menard County Fair at the annual pageant held during the 100th Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Convention in January. As the 51st Miss Illinois County Fair Queen, Freeman will be the official hostess of the Illinois and DuQuoin State Fairs. She will also travel throughout the state this summer to promote county fairs and the state fairs.

Haley is the daughter of Zach and Lori Freeman. She will be a junior at Bradley University this fall where she is double majoring in Health Science Physical Therapy and Psychology. She plans to enter a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program and work with developmentally and physically disabled children.

Miss Freeman is president of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, works as a Personal Assistant/Therapist for an autistic child, and is on the Dean’s List. In her free time, Haley enjoys crafting, playing cards, watching Discovery Channel and Zumba.
