Miss Illinois County Fair 2006
Heather Miller

The reigning Miss Illinois County Fair Queen is Heather Miller of Bloomington. She represented McLean County at the annual pageant held during the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Convention in January, 2006. As the 47th Miss Illinois County Fair Queen, Miller will be the official hostess of the Illinois and DuQuoin State Fairs. She will also travel throughout the state this summer to promote county fairs and the state fairs.

Heather is the daughter of Robert and Kathi Miller. She is a 2006 graduate from Tri-Valley High School and will attend Illinois College on a full-ride scholarship this fall. She plans to major in Communications and Political Science with a minor in Spanish.

During her years in high school, Heather was named to the National Honor Society, was on the Student Council, part of the Golf Team, Thespian Society, Madrigals and Jazz Choir and Spanish Club. She is also a National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist.

Miss Miller also participates in FFA and 4-H, where she was the State Winner in Creed Speaking and one of the top sixteen in the nation, State Winner in Extemporaneous Speaking, State Winner Floriculture, State Winner in Achievement, and received the I Dare You Award.

In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, gardening and water skiing.
